September 22, 2013 - SSAP Nudge to Action

A peaceful view, but the sounds heard in this neighborhood since mid-day yesterday have not been! The flat roof in the background is the Westgate Mall (Nairobi, Kenya) which is still under attack by people now reported as terrorists. Please pray for God’s peace and comfort for all involved. Pray for changed hearts and open ears and eyes to the true source of peace.

(This is a rather personal SSAP Nudge to Action as the poinsettia in the photo is located in the back-yard of our home in Nairobi.  We do feel safe and have contacted our Kenyan church family and asked that they pray for us 'in absentia' as the roads around our home are closed and we will stay put until things are resolved.)
