I awoke last Wednesday with a severe allergy attack, which was not needed as I had a full day ahead preparing our weekly update. THEN the music began outside our cottage.
“Birds of Kenya and Northern Tanzania,” describes what we saw/heard as young Hunter’s Cisticola displaying
“exuberant duetting or chorus-singing in which two or more birds enthusiastically bob, flutter and pump their tails near one another… One of a pair sings weet-cheeeeer, the other a long reeling trill.” I describe what we saw/ heard as a true gift from God!
Sorry, I was too astounded by watching and listening to this duo to even think about recording their song, but you can hear a similar one - just CLICK below!
